artist statement

I create contemporary abstract artwork filled with rich, saturated color and strong, graphic forms. These paintings are designed to feel joyful, energetic, and alive in a space.

Color is always the heartbeat of my work. Earth tones feel grounded and peaceful. Bright, warm hues lift the mood. Neon shades add playfulness. A touch of metallic brings depth and richness.

When I begin a painting, I often return to imagery that intrigues me. I reference my photos of nature, architecture, or everyday objects captured in unexpected ways. I also pull from my digital sketchbook, filled with quick studies exploring striking combinations of color and form.

Each piece evolves from this visual archive and my ongoing experimentation with paints, mediums, tools, and techniques, always in pursuit of a fresh and compelling visual experience.
